No! Roots is an Out-of-Network Provider, meaning we do not bill insurance companies directly. By choosing not to contract with insurance companies, we are able to provide the best possible care for each client with maximum flexibility and without insurance-based limitations. You work one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy to create a custom plan of care that is tailored to your individual needs and goals, rather than a pre-determined algorithm set forth by your insurance company.
Yes! You can use HSA funds and Flex Spending funds on PT, fitness and wellness services at Roots. We also accept cash, credit cards, and personal checks.
Therapeutic Yoga introduces concepts of traditional yoga practice in a way that is specifically beneficial to you. We design yoga sequences that take into account your past medical history, injuries/conditions, body and movement mechanics and abilities with your specific ideas and goals in mind, giving you a phenomenal tool in your toolbox for healing, movement and wellness. Therapeutic Yoga sessions are appropriate for true beginners all the way through experienced yoga teachers with a specific focus in mind.
Our professional fees are as follows: 90 minute Initial Evaluation + Treatment (250) 60 minute Follow Up Session (150) 60 minute BodyWorks Session (150) 60 minute Therapeutic Yoga Session (150)
These services are appropriate for anyone who wants to establish a healthy exercise routine or movement practice –with or without specific goals in mind, someone who needs coaching and accountability to stay on track, someone who wants to run a 5k or half marathon injury- free, an athlete who wants to take their game to the next level, and everyone in between! Nestled under Fitness, Wellness + Performance are our BodyWorks Sessions. These are 60-minute hands-on sessions using Manual Therapy techniques– such as massage, mobilizations, manipulations, stretching, therapeutic cupping and functional dry needling — to improve your mobility, decrease general aches and pains, and for regular health and mobility maintenance.

This is totally dependent upon your specific insurance plan. Some clients are reimbursed at 80%, others not at all. We encourage all clients to call their insurance company to understand their specific out of network benefits prior to starting care at Roots. Upon request, we will email you a detailed invoice with the information needed for you to submit an Out of Network claim to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Yoga
Yes, just make sure you find the right class. A class designed for beginners would be more appropriate than say a Heated Power Class.
Yes! Prenatal Yoga classes are wonderful to take while pregnant! Once you talk about it with your Dr and they give you the ok, yoga can be wonderful to foster a connection between you and baby. Along with decreasing stress and increasing relaxation, it also helps ease some of the discomforts that come along with pregnancy.
